It's enough to turn any mid-30-year-old sheet white - the realisation Frank Turner's England Keep My Bones is a decade old. We remember well before this, and him, and probably still think he's something of a newcomer, despite the fact Turner had put out three albums prior to this ten year benchmark and before those made a bit of a name for himself in hardcore outfit Million Dead.

England was certainly his most potent by that point and should still be considered a career high, as such this reissue is more than worthy of revisiting, while first-timers should obviously stop and pay some real attention. Pure songwriting pedigree on display, it's a deeper dive into the artist's now well-established sound, filled with heartfelt guitar harmonies and incredibly poignant lyricism. Indie folk rock with vulnerability
