Description

Leonid Kogan & Elizabeth Gilels Sonatas for 2 Violins 180g LP Testament SAX2531

Product introduction

Enjoy the feats of the duo of Elisabeth Gilels and Cogan

Introducing a new LP from TESTAMENT. A collection of works for two violins by Emil Gilels' sister and Kogan's wife, Elisabeth Gilels, and Leonid Kogan. Elisabeth Gilels and Kogan formed a duo, Bach's concerto for two violins became very popular, and Weinberg wrote a sonata for two violins for them. Elisabeth Gilels was one of the greatest Soviet performers of the time and had a track record as a professor at the Moscow Conservatory, but Gilels' sister and Kogan's wife make her look at her abilities. Opportunities are rare. It is a content that you can touch her art through the performance of the two again. It is also noteworthy that Isai's sonata was recorded in this duo at this time.
