DEEP PURPLE - IN ROCK - 1970 FIRST PRESSING HARVEST VINYL ALBUM IN EXCELLENT CONDITION

HARVEST RECORDS, CAT NO: SHVL 777
MATRIX NOS: A2/B1

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT EARLY EXAMPLE OF THE 1970 DEEP PURPLE CLASSIC ALBUM, DEEP PURPLE IN ROCK.
IT IS A 'FINAL UPGRADE' STANDARD RECORD, YOU WILL BE HARD PUSHED TO FIND A BETTER ONE.

VINYL: EXCELLENT.  THE AUDIO IS SUPERB THROUGHOUT.
THE HEAVWEIGHT SIXTIES DEEP-GROOVE VINYL STILL DELIVERS PUNCHY LOUD AUDIO WITH NO SIGNIFICANT BACKGROUND NOISE, SKIPS, OR STICKS. THERE ARE NO SCRATCHES OR SERIOUS SCUFFS. IT PLAYS WITHOUT LOUD CLICKS OR POPS, AND THE GLOSSY VINYL STILL DELIVERS REALLY EXCELLENT AUDIO. THERE IS NEGLIGIBLE BACKGROUND CRACKLE EVEN ON THE RUNS-INS.   VISUALLY THERE ARE ONE OR TWO VERY LIGHT WISPY PAPER MARKS BUT NOTHING AT ALL WHICH AFFECTS THE AUDIO.

LABELS:
GREEN HARVEST LABELS, WITH "THE GRAMOPHONE COMPANY" TEXT, AND NO EMI IMPRINT.

OUTER COVER: EXCELLENT

GARROD AND LOFTHOUSE FULLY-LAMINATED GATEFOLD SLEEVE, WITH "FILE UNDER POPULAR: POP GROUPS" TEXT.
BOTH FRONT AND BACK ARE SPOTLESSLY CLEAN WITH NO WRITING OR MARKS.
THE SPINE IS INTACT AND FULLY READABLE. THE INNER GATEFOLD IS STILL CLEAN AND BRIGHT WITH NO WRITING OR MARKS. THE ONLY MINOR FAULT IS A SMALL CORNER CREASE ON THE FRONT OUTER COVER, BUT THIS IS NOT SERIOUS.

INNER SLEEVE: ORIGINAL HARVEST INNER SLEEVE WITH THE CORRECT PATENT NUMBERS AND INTACT SEAMS. THE RECORD WILL BE SHIPPED IN A PLAIN WHITE PAPER SLEEVE TO PREVENT SEAM SPLITS TO THE ORIGINAL.

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT COPY OF A HIGHLY COLLECTABLE ROCK CLASSIC, RARE IN THIS CONDITION, AND ONE WHICH SHOULD BE IN EVERY GOOD RECORD COLLECTION.
