ELVIS PRESLEY – ELVIS’ CHRISTMAS ALBUM (LSP-1951) SCARCE, GLOSSY FLAT LABELS!

RECORD: VG++ (EXC) with beautiful glossy surfaces! At first glance, this Indianapolis pressing appears to have never been played. However, under a bright light, three very light, barely noticeable scuffs appear. Many would still grade this record as “Near Mint” but I am staying conservative. The “flat” labels on this record are seldom seen and it is believed that they were produced in 1968 just prior to the changeover to the orange label pressings. These labels are simply stunning with their glossy appearance! This album was originally released in November of 1957 as LOC-1035 and features “Blue Christmas”. It was reissued in late 1959 as LPM-1951 and bears a cover similar to the cover for this issue.

COVER: NM with full original shrink wrap! Most would simply call this cover “Mint”, but again, I choose to remain conservative in my grading. There are no discernable flaws anywhere on this cover. The red “Stereo Effect Reprocessed From Monophonic” sticker is fully affixed onto the shrink wrap to the upper right corner on the front as well as the original store price sticker ($3.77). The original “ELVIS’ Great LP Catalog” (40D) inner sleeve is included.
