Rolling Stones “Big Hits (High Tide Green Grass)” UK Decca Stereo LP TXS 101. With original inner sleeve. Laminated Gatefold LP Jacket with 6-Page full color booklet attached on the inside of the Gatefold Jacket. Most likely a late 1968 or early 1969 pressing. Made in the United Kingdom.
GATEFOLD LP JACKET: Excellent. No seam-splits, rips or tears. There is a small portion along the bottom-left corner where a bit of the laminate has slightly “lifted” (see pic). Some other minor laminate creases here and there, mainly along the edges. There is a crease on the front cover that is only really more noticeable if you tilt the cover at an angle against direct light (see pic). The spine is crisp and has clearly legible text. Corners showing some signs of wear with some “crinkling”.
VINYL: Vinyl has a deep, rich, shiny sheen. If you were to tilt the vinyl at an angle against direct sunlight then wispy hairline marks, line marks, sleeve removal marks, and minor blemishes become more noticeable which are otherwise less noticeable under normal room light. Please see the collage pictures of the vinyl surface taken in both normal room light and tilted at an angle against direct sunlight.
ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE: Excellent condition. No seam-splits, rips or tears. See pics.
- The back cover has the view hole to indicate either “Stereo” or “Mono”, which indicates it is an earlier pressing. NOTE: Later pressings (but also the very first pressing) do not have the view hole on the back cover
- The the ungrooved labels are Green with unboxed “Decca” logo. The copyright “BIEM” and “NCB” codes are on the same line. There is no Tax Code printed. The publisher is listed after each song. The publishing years are on the bottom of the label. The side number is on the left portion of the label. The composer for Track 7 on Side 1 is misprinted as “Barry”.
- The Gatefold LP Jacket has a single, thick cardboard front flap with NO insert slot to place an LP into on the front flap. This indicates it is an earlier pressing. NOTE: Later cover pressings have a slot to put the record into on the front flap.
