The box has been carefully repaired with tape. Records play-graded excellent to mostly near mint. The Archduke on sides 7 and 8 shows signs of wear with a few very small scratches sounding softly. There is one short skip in the 3rd movement but no scratch or debris visible. Side 9 (14 Variations Op. 44 and Trio in E-flat) looks worse than it is. There are several small scratches and scuff marks but no skips. One scratch sounds 4 or 5x near the end of the Variations.

The other sides are near mint.

The upshot: 30% vg to excellent and 70% nm.

What great music-making, and they were so young! You'll be glad to own this one if you don't mind a few imperfections.

Records have been gently cleaned with distilled water and a microfiber cloth (no chemicals used). I recommend further cleaning before playing. Used records are visually graded ("appears near mint") unless "play-graded" is indicated. Please note: I am not the original owner of most of these records and have not listened to all of them. Any flaw I'm aware of is noted in the description. You can judge for yourself the condition of the record jacket or box by looking at the photographs. I'll be glad to answer any questions.
