The legendary German producer Wolfgang Flur returns to the techno-pop sounds that he pioneered as part of Kraftwerk, as heard on the seminal Autobahn and Electric Cafe albums. Featuring all new material, Magazine 1 has been crafted alongside some of the biggest names in electronic music. Revisiting the proto electro sounds he helped pioneer on 'Zukunftsmusik' featuring fellow German legends U96, the neon-lit synth odyssey 'Das Beat' featuring Ultravox former member Midge Ure, the modern synthpop of 'Birmingham' featuring vocalist Claudia Brucken and New Order's Peter Hook on bass, as well as the clipped house sounds of 'Electric Sheep' with superstar DJ Carl Cox and the futurist Motor City beats of 'Billionaire' with techno godfather Juan Atkins.
