In other words, Swami John Reis' signature drawl again comes to the new music fore with the release of his new album 'Ride The Wild Night', following two teaser singles in 2020. A multi-influential project, Reis' aim with this project is to pinpoint and fuse the various styles of rock n' roll that emerged over the course of the 20th and 21st Centuries, from the 1960s through to the present day. 'Ride The Wild Night', sounds as pop punk as it does gothic, while 'I Hate My Neighbours In The Yellow House' detours through 80s synth and rockabilly, and 'Do You Still Wanna Make Out' owing as much to shoegaze and grunge as much as it does to classic punk. A trotting solo project of grandiose proportions from the former Drive Like Jehu frontman.
