'Unlimited Love' is the band's first recording with guitarist John Frusciante since 2006, and is a welcome return following his various electronic stints and solo projects. Lead single 'Black Summer' heads up the project, fleshing out a more melancholy sound compared to their earlier works, yet still calling attention to Frusciante's iconic surf jamming and Chad Smith's up-down rhythm section.
