THE BEATLES "Rarities"  1980 On Capitol SHAL12060 2nd Version Cover (read below) Butcher Cover Inside Gatefold EXCELLENT Vinyl Original Inner Sleeve
This album is a compilation of tracks that were considered rare in the US at the time. B-sides and other tracks that hadn't been on any Capitol album, different mixes etc.

Also known for reproducing the infamous "butcher shot" for the first time since Yesterday & Today in 1966, on the inside gatefold.

There are 3 cover variations. This one is #2:

#1
-The photo on the front is raised/embossed
-There is no George Martin producer credit on the back lower left corner
-The liner notes incorrectly state "There's A Place" had not been released in stereo in the US before, credit John rather than Ringo with the blisters remark at the end of "Helter Skelter".

#2
-Both the cover photo and the photos on the back are raised/embossed
-George Martin's producer credit is now on the lower left corner on the back
-Under "Helter Skelter" it now states "...so you don't hear the classic statement..."

#3
-Both the cover photos and the photos on the back are NOT raised/embossed
-George Martin's producer credit is present
-"Helter Skelter" states "...so you don't hear the classic statement..."
Vinyl - Excellent = has a few paper scuffs and very light scratches. This record has been cleaned and play tested....It played BEAUTIFULLY!! Cover - Very Good++ = The cover shows very little wear with some minor corner and edge wear.  Inner Sleeve - Very Good+ = Original sleeve shows a little wear with a couple of creases at the top and seam splits on one side and at the bottom
