In the summer of 1998 Los Crudos were in the midst of their first farewell tour. Another band with a similar sound from the West Coast was tearing up the underground in SoCal. That band was Ruido. Their approach to hardcore was similar to Los Crudos in that they sang songs in Spanish but they also played songs in English and weren’t afraid to be anti-PC.
