I will be thinning out my music collection, as I'm moving soon to start a new job. All reasonable offers will be considered. (The key word here is reasonable! Low ball, ridiculous offers will be automatically declined.) Check back often for new listings on vinyl, CDs, vintage rock magazines, and other cool collectibles! Now on to details of this listing...
In 1981, Black Sabbath released their second album without Ozzy on lead vocals. The first with Ronnie James Dio was titled 'Heaven and Hell', and the second with Dio is called 'Mob Rules'. Over FORTY years ago, we were getting our faces melted off with this new and improved Black Sabbath...
In 1982, the band released the track (from 'Mob Rules') titled "Turn Up the Night", and backed it with a song from 'Heaven and Hell' called "Lonely is the Word". They used the demon artwork on the A side, and the B side is a band pic, and song titles and credits. By this second album with Dio, original drummer Bill Ward was gone, and Vinnie Appice was firmly in the band. (RIP Dio. You were, without a doubt, one of the best hard rock and heavy metal singers of all time!)
The vinyl looks great, and only has a couple of very light surface marks on it. No scratches, gouges or scuffs on it! Overall, still all shiny and clean! I can't vouch for the sound quality, as I never play specialty vinyl, such as pic discs and colored records. But for the most part, these older pic discs have a lot of surface noise, and sound bad. But pic discs were made for promotionsl reasons in those days, and not really for the sound.
The perfect gift for that Dio and Sabbath fan in your life, and fans of 80s hard rock and heavy metal. Also for collectors of vintage metal picture discs. And you can always take this home yourself, and watch that collection keep growing! We can never have too much Sabbath now, can we? Lol
Expedited delivery is available for anyone who wants it. Just select that option during checkout. If you have any problems with that, let me know, and I can send an invoice. Media Mail is the default shipping for records, CDs, and DVDs. If you NEED this as soon as possible, then select Priority Mail shipping, to get it much quicker. I'll also insure this for the sale price, in case something happens in transit!
If you have questions or concerns, please let me know, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Immediate payment is requested if I accept your best offer, please.
