Live After Death is a live double album by British heavy metal band Iron Maiden, released on October 14, 1985. During the course of the World Slavery Tour the album was recorded in a series of concerts, presented at Hammersmith Odeon, London and in Long Beach, California, United States, Live After Death is Iron Maiden's first live album, after the Maiden Japan album in EP format. The cover of the album created by Derek Riggs, like many others of the band, appears Eddie the mascot of the Group, emerging from his grave in which the tombstone has a quote from Howard Phillips Lovecraft, a writer of horror stories with style and form of metafiction. Definitely a classic album that you must have in your vinyl collection. Now released in a Deluxe Special Edition with a fantastic 12-page booklet containing the history behind the album (booklet is in Spanish) and a Double 180 Gram Vinyl for collectors.
