JUDAS PRIEST Picture Disc TWO LP Set! NEW & STILL SEALED! W/ BONUS 12" Remix!!
In 1980, UK metal pioneers Judas Priest started the 80s off right, with the release of their metal masterpiece 'British Steel'. It gave the band their first real commercial hit album. Priest turned around and re-released that landmark album in 2020, and was given the special 40th anniversary treatment! It came out in a few different formats, including a TWO record picture disc set! Each record has ONE side (only) with music. They also added TWO extra tracks, a studio song ("Red, White, & Blue"), and a live version of "Grinder"! This is STILL SEALED, and NEVER OPENED or PLAYED! In its original PVC gatefold jacket, it comes with a sash that contains the song titles and credits.
And since this is a Judas Priest DOUBLE SHOT, I'll add a 12" remix of the song "Turbo Lover", from the 1986 album 'Turbo'! This is the "Hi-Octane Mix" of that rockin' song, (the long version), and there's also a short version (the album mix). Judas Priest, with a 12" remix, you ask? And the answer is yes! It's actually pretty cool. It's the same great song, just extended, with a little extra percussion added. I can call it the "disco mix", but I'd be afraid someone would beat me up! Lol It's just Judas Priest experimenting. Taking a few chances. And it came out really well!
'British Steel' is, as mentioned, new and sealed. "Turbo Lover" 12" remix is looking really, really good, and holding up VERY well for something that's almost THIRTY FIVE years old! The vinyl is still all shiny and clean. And the jacket doesn't look bad, either! Just a tad bit shelf-worn in a couple of places. A nice Priest 80s collectible! For fans of Judas Priest and other 80s metal bands, collectors of classic rock picture disc LPs, or snatch these Priest records up for yourself. Vinyl collecting has become cool again, and this is a great place to start...
