ELVIS PRESLEY – KISSIN’ COUSINS (LPM-2894) RARE “NO CAST PHOTO” COVER VARIETY!

RECORD: VG++ (EXC) with clean, glossy surfaces! There are just a small amount of extremely light paper sleeve scuffs on both sides of this Indianapolis pressing. The all-Silver print “MONO” labels are beautiful and fully original! This Original Soundtrack Recording was released in March of 1964 and includes the hit single, “Kissin’ Cousins”. The matrix numbers end with 3S/3S.

COVER: VG+ on the upper end of the grade with no seam splits, tape or writing. However, there are two pair of pinholes to the upper left corner (caused by two small staples) where a price tag had been attached when new. This was common practice in the eastern United States and scarcely done in western states. This is the RARE cover variety which does not have the black and white photo of the film cast to the lower right-hand corner on the front! These covers were produced on Stereo covers as well, sporadically through 1971. There is some wear to the corner tips as well as minor wear along the edges and spine. A central lower edge break of approximately four inches is noticed. Edge breaks such as these are caused by the record shifting suddenly in any given direction. The original turquoise “ELVIS’ Great LP Catalog” inner sleeve is included. Edge splits are noticed.
