San Cristoforo by Luis Alberto Spinetta. Album recorded live at Paseo La Plaza, in August 1998. A kind of meeting of garage musicians but with a great musical background in tow. It is, after all, another great live album by Spinetta, with the exception that instead of acoustic it is with an electric guitar at the helm. That album included reversions of classics by Almendra y Pescado Rabioso, for example, and new compositions. In addition, there is a cover of Ratones Paranoicos (Sucia Estrella) by his friend Juanse. The trio that he composed together with bassist Marcelo Torres and drummer Daniel Wirtz sounds tight and powerful here. It is a cathartic, poetic and direct show, with a Spinetta who attacks each of the songs like a teenager. As Luis himself defined it: An electric lava sauna. And yes, now it can be enjoyed, for the first time, on a 180-gram double vinyl edition.
