Alas Canciones is the title of the album by the Argentine group, Los Cafres. The material was officially launched on the market in 2016. Alas Canciones is in an album that maintains the essence of the band, that "Cafre" sound that characterizes all their other productions; the sound of Latin American reggae, marked as never before by its excellent musicians, pioneers of reggae in Spanish. Linked to this traditional sound, the slightly more active participation of one of the band's keyboardists (Andrés Albornoz) is added, putting his experimental touch and giving a new shine and nuances to the traditional compositions of Los Cafres. The album has 15 songs in which the elegance of a well-played Latin reggae stands out, with a smooth, sweet groove. Romantic and mellow but with deeply themed lyrics… an introspective record.
