ABOUT THE RECORD The Gift Goes On was Sandi Patti's first Christmas album. It includes the first recording of Merry Christmas with Love (later recorded by Clay Aiken and others). It is a song about an older woman who is alone for Christmas and has given up hope for being happy when a group of carolers comes to cheer her up by singing Merry Christmas With Love. The album features many other original and traditional Christmas songs.
