DIO 'Holy Diver' 2022 Joe Baressi REMIX! NEW and SEALED! Black and White Swirl!!
Next year will mark the FORTIETH anniversary of the 1983 release of Dio's debut album titled 'Holy Diver'. Ronnie James Dio started his own band after gigs in Elf, Rainbow, and Black Sabbath. 'Holy Diver' featured guitarist Vivian Campbell, who has been in Def Leppard for many years now. Ronnie Dio himself passed away in 2010. 'Holy Diver' will go down in history as an important and influential 80s metal record, and one of the decade's best! And the music world misses Ronnie James Dio, as he was truly one of the most talented musicians from the last several decades! (RIP RJD, you were always a rainbow in the dark...)
In 2022, super producer Joe Baressi, who's worked with Tool, Queens of the Stone Age, Judas Priest, and Slipknot, among others, was asked to remix 'Holy Diver' for a new release. He said yes, and here we are! They put the remixed reissue on TWO 180 gram records, swirled some white into the black vinyl, made it into a gatefold jacket, and remade the cover (slightly, but front and back covers are a little different). Joe Baressi also produced the remix. Not some wild techno remix, and DEFINITELY not disco. A remix, as in Baressi cleaned up the sound, and used today's technology to do it. And Dio never sounded so good!
And the best part? This bad boy is STILL SEALED, and NEVER OPENED or PLAYED! First pic is a stock photo, to show you the colored vinyl. ALL other pics are of the actual item you will get. Vintage Dio, on colored vinyl, new and sealed, and the 2022 Baressi remix, and at a nice price! Could it get any better than this? (Probably not! Lol)
