The album was very successful in the UK, reaching number one on the charts and staying on the charts for 63 weeks. their songs on this album (except for the songs "Pain Is So Close to Pleasure", "Friends Will Be Friends" and "One Vision" that do not belong to the film). Precisely One Vision belongs to the soundtrack of the movie Iron Eagle. The album was produced by Queen, Mack and David Richards. A deluxe edition of this album was issued in 2022 featuring a Gatefold Edition a 180 Gram Vinyl and a unique Booklet with a fantastic photos and containing the history behind the album (booklet is in Spanish).
