Up for sale is a hard to find mixed-media product (16 page booklet + two [2] 45 RPM EP records) about the Melanesian island of Fiji.  It was produced by a New Zealand record label, the Viking Record Company, Ltd.  The recorded music comes from three different performing groups and features quite a variety of styles.

Neither the booklet nor the records are dated.  However, the text of the booklet states (page 8):  "Fiji is today a British Crown Colony..."  This would establish the date as prior to 1970, the year in which Great Britain gave the Dominion of Fiji its independence.  (The new nation would not have been considered a Crown Colony after that.)  A publication date in the 1960s would be a good guess.

The package includes a 16 page (plus covers) booklet with many full color photos.  There are pockets for the two 7 inch records to fit in the front and back covers.  Each of the records comes with the original clear vinyl form fitting inner sleeve.
