There is no end of covers of this classic tune originally by the great Joy Division and to be honest most of them are pretty decent, including this one, which is a limited green vinyl version. Scottish production team Capitol 1212 serve up a killer reinterpretation with sublime vocal from Studio One / Dreadzone singer Earl Sixteen. As with many modern pop classics, it's as if the tune were destined for dub; Sixteen's vocals sound paradoxically original, as they're matched by eighth-note pedalizations of the song's melody. The 'Dub Division' mix, meanwhile, is even more smeared in delay, reverb, triggers and sirenny FX wobbles.
