Miles Davis – Kind Of Blue-Columbia CL 1355 Vinyl LP 1ST US MONO PRESS 6 EYE.
Deep groove with 1B / 1C matrix. It has the order of side 2 tracks reversed on both the back cover and side 2 label. 1959 mono. First press.
Play tested as VG. No skips. The 6-eye Columbia pressings play strong. Visually I would say this is a G+ with numerous marks and scratches.
Cover has splits and visible tape from repair long ago.
This is a really great starter copy. It has some noise but the music is strong and enjoyable throughout. If you’re looking for perfection this is not for you but again very enjoyable listen.
These earlier original presses are getting harder to find.
