Scottish jazz trumpeter Malcolm Strachan releases his second solo album 'Point Of No Return' on Haggis Records on 27th January 2023. Covering a broad mixture of styles, Strachan's cool baritone is helped along by danceable, acoustic arrays of flute, piano and brushed drums. The album also brings in influences from modal jazz to Brazilian samba to Latin, ensuring a mellow affair from start to finish.
