Hello from purplegallinule - I am a vinyl enthusiast and have been buying, selling and trading records since the mid-1970s and I have always applied high standards and taken extremely good care of my records.
All the records are wet vacuum cleaned before being thoroughly play tested and housed in brand new high quality poly-lined inner and protective outer sleeves.
Although considerably more of a music fan than an expert, I certainly know my way around vinyl records well enough to say that you can buy from me with confidence and with also being a collector, my eBay policy is simple - if I wouldn't be happy to slide absolutely any of these records straight into my own cherished personal collection then they will not be listed for sale on here - all I would ask of you is for a chance to put things right in the unlikely event that you are not fully satisfied.
All records are sent out a.s.a.p. and packaged thoroughly in bespoke mailers with rigid card stiffeners to avoid any creasing or bumped corners and I am always very happy to combine postage.
Please note that I grade everything as 'Excellent' for the purposes of the listing as gradings are so subjective I personally never pay them much attention so please see the details below for an appraisal of this record.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Details about this specific record: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
'The Story of The Who' - original 1976 vinyl album in excellent condition.
The vinyl is in pretty pristine condition with only the very lightest of wispy superficial hairlines, if any at all, visible in bright light and this visual condition is well reflected in the playback and I am listening to the album as I type this, currently side 3 and the brilliant 'The Acid Queen' and the audio is superb and delivering all of that crispness and detail characteristic of high quality and well cared for vinyl - in fact the track 'Pinball Wizard' has just started and the audio currently filling my lounge is quite exquisite.
The high gloss laminated sleeve is in lovely condition with only the very lightest of any wear. There is a really interesting 'scrapbook' stapled into the centrefold with a host of historic photographs, paraphernalia and information on the history of this legendary rock band.
The original poly-lined inners are included for completeness and authenticity, though the vinyls are now housed in brand new poly-lined inner sleeves.
You'd have to go a very long way to find as good a looking and sounding copy of this superb compilation, featuring no less than 26 brilliant tracks. The packaging is in superb shape and the freshly machine deep cleaned vinyl in pretty immaculate condition delivers a lovely pin sharp audio.
SORRY - NO 'BUY-IT-NOW' OPTION AS I ALWAYS ALLOW MY AUCTIONS TO RUN.

Please take a little time to study the photos which are of the actual record for sale. Obviously without the option of physically being able to pick the record up and assess it with your own eyes, the 'zoom' function via the thumbnails is particularly useful here as a tool for evaluating the true condition of the item, though I will always aim to highlight anything regarding its condition in the descriptions which I myself would want to be aware of prior to considering making a purchase.
I have some other nice records currently listed with lots of others coming up over the next few weeks.
