ELVIS PRESLEY – ELVIS’ CHRISTMAS ALBUM (LOC-1035) HIGH GRADE FIRST PRESSING from 1957 with GOLD PRINT ON SPINE

RECORD: VG+ with some scattered, light scuffs on both sides which cannot be felt with the fingertip and do not result in any skips or repeats. This Rockaway pressing played great upon test, retaining full high fidelity! Of course, there were some sporadic “ticks”, mainly in the softer areas of the music, but these were not so noticeable as to override the listening enjoyment. The matrix numbers end with 4S/4S

COVER: VG++ (EXC) with NO SPLIT down the spine! This is something that is seen on approximately 90% of these covers. The spine on this cover shows only minimal wear. There is a ¼-inch upper seam split as well as evidence of some bumping of that corner tip. Both sides of the cover show only very light surface scuffing from contact with other albums over the years. There is no tape, writing or edge breaks anywhere on this cover! The upper and lower edges are smooth and miraculously, show hardly any wear. Inside, the Photo Album is simply stunning! None of the pages have any hard bends or creases but do show a bit of handling from turning the pages to see the photos. The only flaw on the inside is the fact that the inside pages of the Photo Album has broken away from the upper staple as seen once the first page is turned. Aside from the minor flaws mentioned, this is a fully original, and very scarce, Elvis Presley album. It was available in stores for only 1957-1958 and never to be seen again until the 1985 reissue of much thinner stock and Green Vinyl. The original RCA Victor inner sleeve is included with the “Loving You” album mentioned under “Popular” albums on the back side.
