RARE Elvis From Memphis To Vegas Double LP LSP-6020 w/ correct Gibb/James disc!.
This 2 record set is packed with one legendary performance after another. Originally released in large numbers in November 1969 with an incorrect label on Side 2 listing the writers of Words as Tommy Boyce and Bobby Hart and Suspicious Minds as Frances Zambon. One month later RCA released a limited run with the correct credits…Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb for Words and Mark James for Suspicious Minds. This auction includes the much more sought after Gibb/James disc. It comes from the Hollywood plant and is the rigid vinyl. The discs are in VG+ condition. There are some scuffs and spindle marks, but no scratches. It plays very well.
The cover is in VG- condition, but that doesn’t matter. The value is in the record! You can swap this cover with another From Memphis To Vegas cover.
The Presleyana VIII price guide from 2017 says a Near Mint example was worth $300. Since then the value has risen. Elvis records from 1968 through 1970 are more and more collectible since these are the years Elvis’ gave us especially wonderful performances.
