Freddie Gibbs and Madlib have now joined up for a number of well received collaborations. PiNata was one of the early ones back in 2014. It has remained a best seller ever since and For Record Store Day 2021 they updated it with an 80s fuelled version. This one has been lacquered at half speed master and comes in an 80s themed cover with bright neons and retro-future Miami Vice kind of vibes. The music remains a vital mix of great beats and hard bars from these two masters.
