HORACE PARLAN- "Headin' South" NEW/SEALED Blue Note 84062, Toshiba EMI Japanese Pressing

I have bought and sold on Ebay for over 20 years,  mostly high end stereo equipment with an occasional album. Over the past 30 years, I have amassed a decent collection of audiophile vinyl, jazz, rock, and classical. I was an early subscriber to many of the Analogue Productions pressings, DCC, MFSL, etc.  I have decided to sell about 100 titles  (over half are sealed), during the next few months in order to fund an equipment upgrade.  Initially, I will only offer sealed NEW albums, and all titles are out of print. My hope is that these albums will find their way to other music lovers and collectors. All albums were purchased new and have been properly stored in a smoke free, drug free, climate controlled environment.

HOW I PACK

Each album is wrapped in a plastic bag that is then wrapped-top to bottom and left to right in several layers of bubble wrap.  The bundled album item is then packed in a13.5 x 13.5 x 2 inch heavy cardboard box that is sealed tight.  I do not charge for packing, and I grossly undercharge for shipping. For example, the cost to bubble wrap and the cost of the box comes to about $8 per record.  I usually pay $12-15 to ship UPS even though the ebay charge for shipping isabout $5.  I do this to ensure that the albums arrive in perfect condition.

A NOTE ABOUT MY USED RECORDS.  I am not selling any records that I regularly or even seldomly play, it’s just too difficult to grade them in a way that will satisfy ALL buyers.  Therefore, I am selling albums that have been opened, and either NEVER played, or at most, played one side or less, on one occasion. You can tell when examining the inner sleeves, that they have never been pulled out of the jacket, they are still tightly packed in.  For example, I often only removed one album from a double album jacket.  If I played the album more than a couple times, I’m not offering them for sale.   I own so many records, that this holds true for about 75-150 titles.  Again, anything I play in regular rotation (350 or so) or even occasionally, will not be sold ,I’ll let my kids deal with all the sealed MFSL One Step albums.  All albums were played on an SME 30  turntable with a Koetsu Onyx Platinum cartridge.  Nothing is worn, and I will clean any album that has been played.

BID WITH CONFIDENCE- MY FEEDBACK IS 100% POSITIVE AS BOTH ABUYER AND A SELLER FOR OVER 20 YEARS. IF THERE IS PROBLEM, I AM REASONABLE.
