Some superb UK roots killers here that are heavyweight and perfect to be roped on a big old sound system. Errol Mattis opens up with yearning vocal cries over a lazy, swaggy riddim that speaks of real pain with some natty riffs oiling the groove on 'Early Bird.' Errol Bellot is then credited with 'Rootsman' which is another classic dub with impassioned vocals and drums perfectly sat in the bass. In authentic fashion, both of the originals are backed with hefty dubs by Must Dance Players for even more bass bin bothering action. A must-cop 12" for sure.
