Last November I bought a sealed copy of Elvis Now for $18.99 plus tax. I took a chance hoping that when I opened it I would find the rare Tan label saying Side A and Side B. Well, with a razor blade I cut the shrink wrap and pulled out the record…it was the Tan label with Side 1 and Side 2, and I already have one. This one is not as common as the Orange label first pressing at least!
I have only looked at the record and as you would expect, there are no scratches, finger prints, scuffs or spindle marks. Even though this record is brand new, never having been on a turntable, the vinyl has some slight discoloration in spots but this is from the factory, Indianapolis pressing plant.
Comes with the receipt of my purchase last November. The person at the record store had a little fun putting a post-it note near Elvis’ face saying “Factory Sealed Copy”. Besides me carefully opening the record, I’ve left everything as I found it!
