Sleep Token formed in London in 2016, and they're already notching up their third album for the mighty Spinefarm Records. The band have taken the route of being anonymous with a purposeful move to put the attention on the music (and their supposed deity Sleep), and their pointed, angular take on metal and indie rock stands up to scrutiny. On Take Me Back To Eden they are purportedly closing off a trilogy which began with their debut, although this doesn't mean the end of the band. A good thing to, as they're sounding stronger than ever enmeshing their taut, spiky riffs with electronic textures, dexterous rhythms and canny hooks which keep their appeal broad and persuasive.
