Algo Mejor is the third solo studio album by singer Fabiana Cantilo, and the first that brought her closer to a mass audience. After three years without recording any material, she entered studios under the production of the musician Fito Páez to record some of his own songs, and others by friends such as Andrés Calamaro, Fito Páez, Celeste Carballo and Tito Losavio. The material turns out to be a full success and of unprecedented massiveness, both due to Mi Enfermedad, a song that would consecrate it, at the time of training, more precisely on October 4, 1992, in the debut of Diego Armando Maradona as a player for the Sevilla Fútbol Club, In television interviews, Fabiana commented that Diego had been fascinated by the song, and even more so because of the friendship he had with the composer Andrés Calamaro, he himself decided to enter the court with the song in the background, as well as Mary Poppins y el Deshollinador,  composed latter by Páez and Cantilo. With both songs playing for a long time on the radio, in addition to Llego tarde and Arcos, Fabiana Cantilo's career was in full growth.
