Kajun 502. Gabriel Waltz (2:10) / Mardi-Gras Song (2:17). Nathan wrote and sang the vocal on the A-side. The B-side was written and sung by Dewey Balfa, who was a member of Abshire's Pinegrove Playboys band at the time. Not sure of a release date here, complicated by the fact that Kajun 503 featured the same A-side without Dewey's vocal on the flip. Kajun 503 featured Abshire's signature tune, "Pinegrove Blues" which he first recorded in 1949, as the B-side. The session that produced these two sides was held in 1961. The vinyl looks and plays a strong VG+. Labels clean. Generic sleeve. See scans for more detail. Matrix numbers written in the dead wax match those printed at the bottom of the label.
