I found this recently at the estate of an old English Literature Professor.. He was a big fan of Tolkien's LORD OF THE RINGS and had lots of interesting related ephemera. other posters, records, and books I shall list shortly...( so check my upcoming listings if you are so inclined).

This is a Four album Box Set comprising the previous Caedmon LPs of J.R.R. Tolkien reads excerpts from  THE HOBBIT THE LORD OF THE RINGS POEMS AND SONGS OF MIDDLE EARTH And  CHRISTOPHER TOLKIEN reads THE SILMARILLION - " Of Beren and Luthien" along with these albums there is also a 18" x 24" poster of the map of Beleriand.
The original owner of this set bought is new in 1977 from Tower records and never opened it.
IT IS STILL SEALED. MINT CONDITION . OUTSIDE OF A TIME MACHINE YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER COPY OF THIS SET.
The grading of Mint refers to the contents. THe box/slipcase while still sealed shows a tiny bit of wear to one corner ( see photo )
THIS SET IS FAIRLY SCARCE. An open copy in just "very good" condition recently sold for $480.. DON'T MiSS YOUR CHANCE TO GET A MINT CONDITON COPY FOR JUST A WEE BIT MORE.
