This is the 1986 pressing of "Always Now" LP from Factory Records (Fact 45).
There are actually 2 different pressings and 2 different covers = 3 different editions. This listing is for the 3rd one:
- Matchbook like sleeve slick and glossy, not textured like 1st and 2nd edition..
- Printed inner sleeve has a blue-ish touch, not the rather purple like of 1st and 2nd edition.
- Record labels have an broad elevated ring, like 2nd (the 1st edition labels are flat)
- Vinyl is lighter and thinner than the 1st edition (like 2nd edition).
- Runout inscriptions are exactly the same for all pressings.
- No red seal, 1st and 2nd editions have one.
Overall: 3rd edition = 2nd edition "labels" and vinyl and different cover.
Recorded at Britannia Row in February 1981.
Record plays through without any major issues. I would grade as VG to VG+
