I played this record using my Pioneer headphones. There is more surface noise on the first side than on the second side. Tend to hear the noise when there is a quiet part of a song. A few songs I do not hear any noise at all. The excellent sounds from this Joe Henderson album can be clearly heard, anyway. Plays fine, no skipping. Now, I used a medium Audio-Technica cartridge (shown in one picture). If you have a high end cartridge you will hear more surface noise.
Cosmetically the cover shows a lot of wear as seen in the pictures. Plus the seam is split.
The sleeve that holds the record is missing.
