John Fogerty spent the late 60s and a couple of years into the early 70s as the voice of Credence Clearwater Revival. His distinct raspy voice is instantly recognizable, and the classic songs are a part of American rock's blueprint. Fogerty has made solo albums for FIFTY years now, as the first one came out in 1973. Fast forward to 1985, and he released his successful solo record 'Centerfield', with the hits "The Old Man Down the Road", "Rock and Roll Girls", and the title track. It was a chart-topping hit album (peaking at number 1 on Billboard's album chart), and sold over TWO MILLION copies here in the US alone!

He also released an album called 'Blue Moon Swamp' in 1997. It's great, and features many guests musicians such as Kenny Aronoff, Howie Epstein, Chad Smith, Cheater Thompson, Vinnie Colaiuta, and many more! That album also won Fogerty a Grammy at the 40th Grammy Awards for Best Rock Album! The artwork is amazing, and is beautiful, blue, and swampy...(but, I'm from Louisiana, so that's beautiful to me, of course! Lol)

Up for your consideration today is a double shot of John Fogerty 12" picture discs! First up the picture disc single for "Centerfield"! That great track is on the A side, and "Rock and Roll Girls" is on the B side. And it's the awesome baseball picture disc! Bought new but never sealed. Never played! The only flaw is a split in the clear PVC jacket (as many have, due to shipping). With Record Store Day hype sticker!

The second item in this way cool John Fogerty double shot is the picture disc LP for 'Blue Moon Swamp' album! It's that awesome artwork from the front of the record's cover, and the B side is a pic of John's guitar and the album's song titles. One of the nicer picture discs I've seen in a while, and also bought new. Never sealed, but never played. And like "Centerfield", this PVC jacket is split, this one on two sides. (You'd think that they would reinforce the sides, but so far, no!) Also in its original jacket with hype sticker.
