In 1973, FIFTY years ago, British legendary progressive rockers Pink Floyd released what is arguably one of the greatest rock albums ever made! It's amazing, and features hard rock, soft rock, jazz, blues, electronic, and psychedelic rock...all on the same album! It's also one of the best selling albums of all time. Selling over FORTY FIVE million copies worldwide, it's the band's best seller, the best selling album of the 70s, and the FOURTH best selling album of all time! Not too shabby, huh? Lol

In 1978, and after the album was on the Billboard album chart for a few years, (in fact, it stayed on that chart the longest in history, like FOURTEEN years, non-consecutive, and a total of 741 weeks, from 1973 to 1988!), they released it on a picture disc LP. It came with a die-cut sleeve, and the pyramid prism was shining bright for all to see. The back of the sleeve contains the song titles and credits.

The vinyl itself has a few surface marks and light scratches on it. It's showing its age of FORTY FIVE years old! But the flaws are only noticable when looking up close in a bright light. From far, or in a frame, you won't be able to see much, if anything at all. And there's that notation on the back about not sounding as good as regular vinyl. For listening, I highly recommend the latest Blu-ray release in surround sound Dolby Atmos. It's pretty much the definitive way to hear this rock and roll masterpiece!

These can go for big bucks. Just look at the others up for sale right now. But in today's rockin' good deal, you can get this vintage rock album, on a picture disc LP, and at a nice price! This year, give the greatest gift of all, the gift of music! And Pink Floyd collectibles are always in demand. Their stuff has been in demand, for over 50 years, (with no signs of letting up)!
