Peperina is the fourth studio album by the Argentine rock band Serú Girán, released at the end of 1981. The album presents notable advances in terms of recording quality and contains several classics. The album was presented on September 4, 5 and 6, 1981 at the Obras stadium. At first, when Charly García and David Lebón composed the songs for this album, García thought that it was more of a film than a long-play. That's why he came up with the idea of ​​putting a giant screen at the recital, projecting specially recorded videos and having the group play in the dark, accompanying those images. Finally, the idea was discarded because the stadium roof was too low: the screen was going to cover a large part of the stage and they were going to be almost completely hidden.
