80s 12" Vinyl Triple Shot! KRAFTWERK, THE CURE, and TEARS FOR FEARS! 80S Jams!!
The 80s did not invent the 12", or the remix. But that decade pretty much perfected both! And today we have, for your consideration, a triple shot of bands that were HUGE in the 80s, and three different 12" remix maxi-singles of three different songs!
First up is "The Telephone Call", and the three mix 12" from Kraftwerk. Taken from their 1986 album "Electric Café', it's a great song, and on here it's the remix, the house version (called "The House Phone"), and the German version (called "Der Telephone Anruf")! The vinyl itself looks great, and I see no scratches, gouges, or scuffs. The jacket is showing signs of shelf-wear, (with a cut-out notch, and some light ring-wear on the back.) Overall, in pretty good condition.
Next up, we have The Cure, from the 'Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me' album, and their hit "Hot Hot Hot!!!", on a 12" remix vinyl record! Featuring the remix AND the extended remix of "Hot Hot Hot!!!", plus the extended remix of "Hey You!!!", (yes, that song also has three exclamation points! Lol)! This jacket has a cut-out notch, as well. And it's showing signs of age, with some shelf-wear, mostly on the corners and spine. Original price tag on back. Vinyl is very good+, and I see no scratches, gouges, or scuffs. In really, really good shape for something from the 80s!!! (HAD to add three! Lol)
Last, we have a 12" from Britain's Tears for Fears, and their massive worldwide hit "Shout"! This is from 1985, and the Tears for Fears album 'Songs From the Big Chair'. That album has sold over NINE MILLION copies worldwide, with FIVE MILLION sold in the US! "Shout" is here, with the US remix, as well as the UK remix. Plus they include the song "The Big Chair"! This one has no cut-out notch, and only a little shelf-wear, mainly on the corners. The vinyl itself looks great, with only one very, very light surface mark on one side. No scratches, gouges, or scuffs. A sweet Tears for Fears 12" remix record, from nearly FORTY years ago!
Bring home some 80s jams, on 12" vinyl today! These records are getting harder and harder to find, as a limited number were made, then production was stopped....forever! Once these are gone, they're gone for good. Occasionally these versions pop up on pricey deluxe editions of CD reissues. But you can bring these home today, and relive one of music's greatest decades, the 80s!
