Up for auction here is my copy of the classic 1982 lp by Iron Maiden 'The Number Of The Beast'
This is a 1st UK Pressing Cat No EMC 34001
I have owned it since it came out. It has been barely played and very well looked after.
I had numerous copies including the cassette so this one was very rarely listened to.
Some of the plastic is still in the spindle holes.
The matrix numbers are Side 1 "EMC 3400A-2" "NICK2" (Hand etched Master Pressers Signature only 1st UK Pressings)
Side 2 "EMC 3400 B-3" "GIVE IT SOME HEADBUTTS" (Hand etched Master Pressers Signature only 1st UK Pressings)
The vinyl is visually in Excellent + condition. A lovely deep sheen. There are a couple of very light sleeve removal type marks. The vinyl plays through really lovely. No jumps, skips, ticks or clicks. Just some light occasional background crackle. A real treat to listen to.
The labels are in near mint condition with no signs of play
The sleeve is also excellent with some very light creasing and signs of wear. The spine is clearly visible
The inner lyric sleeve is also excellent
Overall a great copy of this metal classic
