Tatsuo Sunaga did a superb job when putting together this legendary collection of Japanese jazz tracks. They all originally came on the cult TBM aka Three Blind Mice label which has a hardcore following in the Far East and is just as popular with those that know over in Europe. The tracks included here are suitable for both long time jazz heads and the newly inquisitive listen alike with plenty of lush sounds from Sunao Wada Quintet Plus 1, Tatsuya Takahashi & The Tokyo Union and Masaru Imada Trio Plus 2 amongst many more.
