British music duo Everything But The Girl formed in 1982, over FORTY years ago. They are a husband and wife team: Ben Watt and Tracey Thorn. Both are really talented, and both are extremely diverse in their musical abilities. In the early days, they were folk, jazz pop, and synth pop. In 1994, THIRTY years ago, EBTG had an international hit with a song called "Missing". It was remixed by Todd Terry, and played in clubs all over the world!
"Missing" has been remixed many times through the years by different producers. Tracey's singing is angelic, and Ben's amazing skills are evident on this great track. In 1994, EBTG and Atlantic released "Missing", on a blue vinyl 12" record, with FIVE mixes! These came in a solid black die-cut sleeve, with a hype sticker on the sleeve itself. My copy had the hype sticker on the outside of the shrinkwrap, which got removed, so no sticker on this copy. The vinyl looks great, and is still all shiny and clean!
And I'll make this an Everything But The Girl DOUBLE SHOT, and add the TWO 12" record remix set for the song "Walking Wounded"! This comes in its original white die-cut sleeve, with hype sticker on the sleeve itself. Each record has the letters EBTG (in camo) on one side (of the label), and the other side has tracks for both sides listed. The sleeve is looking its age (1996), and isn't bright white anymore. But still intact, and holding both 12" records nicely. Vinyl looks great, and is also still shiny and clean. A sweet pair of EBTG 90s vinyl collectibles, available now, and at a nice price! Vinyl is red hot again, and music fans enjoy seeking out, then spinning vintage vinyl records. Grab these remixes before they're gone for good!
***Shipping worldwide once again! Ebay has enrolled me in their new international shipping program and handles all fees, paperwork, and we are both covered if anything happens in transit. And I pack well, using cardboard mailers and/or bubble wrap and padded mailers. So your item should get to you, wherever you are, in good shape!***
Please know that I don't make money on shipping. In fact sellers usually lose money on shipping, as eBay keeps a portion. Expedited shipping is available to anyone who wants it. USPS's Ground Advantage is close to Priority Mail with delivery, adds $100 of insurance, and is less than Priority. If you NEED it a little faster, just choose and pay for that option when checking out.
Let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Ask me about combined shipping when you make multiple purchases. If there are any problems once you receive your item(s), please give me a chance to make it right. MOST problems are easily resolved... Immediate payment if I accept your best offer, please. Also, if you try to make a seriously low-ball offer, it will automatically decline it. (REASONABLE offers usually get automatically accepted.) Thanks for stopping by. Take care, and have a good day!
