New sealed 180 gram vinyl. Clics Modernos is the second studio album by Argentine singer and multi-instrumentalist Charly García, released on November 5, 1983, with the participation of Pedro Aznar, with whom he had already worked together in Serú Girán, as well as sound engineer Joe Blaney. Considered the best fruit of his career, it includes references to the Argentine civic-military dictatorship that existed until shortly before the album's release, with lyrics characterized by their sarcastic and humorous tone. It was a decisive work to consolidate the modern trends that would mark the profile of Argentine rock during the 1980s and later. The album title comes from the album cover art. The album was self-produced and composed by Garcia and was recorded almost entirely at Electric Lady Studios in New York for a brief period. The music is primarily oriented towards the new wave sound, but some songs also incorporate elements of various pop subgenres. It appears in several lists of the best albums of all time in Latin America, among which were included those of Rolling Stone magazines.
