An extremely rare 1985 BBC Transcription Service LP. Recorded live at The Birmingham National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, UK, September 20 1985. As you can see from the photos, this is an authentic and rare “green label” BBC Transcription Disc, not a bootleg copy.

Condition:  VG+.  Clean, with a couple of very light surface marks visible under bright light. I’ve taken some close-up photos of the playing surface. I played the record in its entirety on March 31, 2024; plays perfectly with minimal surface noise (you may hear a small amount of crackle during quiet musical passages). There’s 1 click on Side 2 between the songs “Sinking” and “Close to Me”; because the playing surface on this part of the record has zero marks, I suspect this is a manufacturing defect, no other clicks, pops or skips. Jacket is the standard generic die-cut BBC Transcription jacket. No writing on this one, shows some ring wear and a couple of the corners are dented. See close-up photos.

Shipping: Default shipping for records is Canada Post. CAD $35 will cover shipping to  Canada, CAD $40 to Continental USA, CAD $65 to Western Europe, CAD $70 to Japan. Unfortunately, shipping items from Canada is very expensive, and ebay also takes their percentage of shipping costs. So if I’m shipping this record to the USA, ebay takes $4 of that $40. These shipping charges legitimately only cover shipping and packaging, and are the least expensive TRACKABLE shipping options available. I can ship via other trackable methods if you have a preference (at your cost). If trackable shipping is not available from Canada to your country, I cannot ship to you.

I package records with exceptional care - I use real NEW LP mailers with additional protective cardboard pads. Records are placed in new archival quality inner sleeves (original inner sleeves included when available). For high-value records like this one, I place the record inside a new white die-cut jacket which is packaged next to the cover; this eliminates the possibility of spine and seam damage during shipping.

For buyers outside Canada, you are responsible for any applicable duties, taxes, or other import charges. Item manufactured in UK.
