This latest single by anonymous, masked metal supergroup Ghost hears the band lay down a haunting, straight-up hard rock clanger, in support of the upcoming 2021 slasher film 'Halloween Kills'. 'Hunter's Moon' stops and starts between choral sections erratically, as though the musicians have synchronously taken the same brand of nightmare pill. "I'm dying to see you once agian" is the refrain, carefully double-entendring into deathly, mathy elysium. On the back, John Carpenter's new 'Halloween Kills' theme, a rerun of the '78 classic. It's just as fitting that both songs should be released on limited 7" clear, alabaster vinyl - the colour of blood-drained skin, or brittle ghost's bones.
