ELVIS PRESLEY – ELVIS IS BACK! (LSP-2231) FIRST PRESSING in “LIVING STEREO”

RECORD: VG with many light scuffs and non-feelable scratches. This “Living Stereo” copy should play well but expect some audible “ticks” that should not override the recorded performance. This was the first Elvis album to be available in both Monaural and Stereo in 1960. The labels on this Rockaway pressing are without any stickers or writing but show some light spindle marks on each side.

COVER: VG++ (EXC) with no seam splits! This gatefold cover is prone to having seam splits and as a result, it is quite rare to come across an example without splits, such as this one. There is some edge and corner wear, however. Ring wear is present but quite light. A minor central break is seen within the crook of the inside of the gatefold, which is very commonly seen on these covers. There is no tape, writing or staple holes anywhere on this cover. The original RCA Victor inner sleeve is included which shows an ad for the Original Soundtrack Recording of “Greenwillow”.

All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to best protection.
