By the occasion of her third studio album in August 2015, Carly Rae Jepsen was already an established global pop star. The album immediately debuted at #15 in the Canadian Albums Chart and features fan-favourite singles such as 'I Really Like You' and 'Run Away With Me'. It was recorded in studios all over the US and also in Stockholm and found Carly moving away from the super happy bubblegum pop of early albums and towards a more indie-leaning sound inspired by 1980s styles and alternative acts. The resulting synth-pop sounds got rave reviews from fans and critics alike.
