ELVIS PRESLEY – KISSIN’ COUSINS (LPM-2894) RARE “NO FILM CAST PHOTO” COVER!

RECORD: VG- with pleasing glossy surfaces for the grade. This is a second pressing with the “RCA Victor” now in white lettering above the Dog & Gramophone on the labels and “Monaural” replacing “MONO” at the base of the labels. Despite this Indianapolis pressing having suffered much surface scuffing and some scratching, the high fidelity remains strong and clear, but with some noticeable “ticks” along the way. There were no skips or repeats during complete test-play!

COVER: VG Scarce, “No Film Cast Photo” on the front variety! There is an upper seam split of approximately 4 inches and a lower seam split of approximately 3 inches. The spine shows some minor fading and cracking but remains legible. Some additional upper and lower edge wear is noticed as well as some light ring wear on both sides. A couple of small notations lightly written in ball-point pen are seen on the upper portion of the front. These “No Film Cast Photo” covers were produced simultaneously with the covers that included the black & white film cast photo on the front, to the lower right corner. However, they were manufactured in much lower numbers! They were produced as early as 1964 and as late as 1971 with the Stereo, “Dynaflex” records inside. The original “ELVIS’ Great LP Catalog” (40B) is included.

All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to best protection.
